Can Modification for 2013

Has anyone taken a can from a 2011-2012 and made it work for a 2013?
The bottom bracket on the 13 is like the top bracket on the 11 12 and 13. but on the 11 and 12 the lower bracket is two grommets and the can has two rods that go through the grommets.

Has anyone done this tried this or heard of this?

I had a skinz can off my 11 Pro and ordered the bracket off the 11-12 pro. Worked great fit perfect i would assume the stock can or any other would be the same result.

Are you talking about making the stock can from an 11/12 work on a 13 or one of the aftermarket cans? The stock cans do not interchange from 11/12 to the 13 because of that bracket you mentioned. I didn't try to make it work, after all...it is the stock can. The HPS can does work from '11 on the '12 and '13 (and I'm guessing the '14 as well).

It works but you have to buy the bracket and grommet from the 11/12 and bolt it on.Not an easy job as I found out,the front lower bolt is almost impossible to remove with the stator housing in the way.If you then got it out its next to impossible to put the but back on as its a welded stud on the bracket. I returned the bracket sold 12 can and bought the proper one.A few more $ but less frustration.

I made an adapter bracket for mine that allows you to use the 12 can and also put the 13 back on if you want. I made it from a piece of square stock mild steel that when cut in half slides over the rubber mount on the bulkhead. Then i took a piece of round stock center bored it for the 12 pin, threw the can on the sled so that everything was lined up and then tacked the round stock to the square. Dissassembled and welded it up. I have a few hundred miles with the setup and there is no sign of bad wear or exhaust leaks. It works great. no modifications to either can, no modifications to the sled just an easy adapter bracket!

I did one too. Took an SLP can from a 12 and put it on a 13. The bracket removal was a bastard. I would just buy a bracket or make my own if I did it again. The pipes are the same part # 12 to 13 for sure (probably 11 to 14 too but not positive)
