Can I used 09 m8 rails on 05 m7

Can I swap my 05 rails with 09 rails and still use my 05 rear shocks, arms, etc? yay or nay?

not sure but how it would work with the 09 m8 being a float skid......dunno tho..

yes but you'd have to drill the skid for the torsion spring.

I am not so sure you can. The only place you will run into trouble is where the center idler wheel/ rear arm shock pivot mounts. The 09 rails are pretty swiss cheesy, so there may not be room for the mount holes. The rear sissor mounts in the same location to the rails on all years as does the front shock lower shaft. Also the front arm is the same as a holz bracket on 05/06. I would get 07 rails to be sure. Or do the entire 09 skid setup (it's a lot better than 05).

Anybody have any experience with iceage mfg. rails? There only $38 more than factory cat ones, thinking i might just go that route?

talked to jake today at iceage am ordering my rails shortly. have heard nothing but good things about them plus its nice they are only 15 mins away.
