Anyone else get this from the guys who refuse to get a pack of their own?

Oh yeah. Why in the hell would I want to carry your water bottle. The Pack is for me not you. I don't need you extra weight on my back. Kind of like going for a motor bike ride and you're the only one with saddle bags.

Yeah, these are the same guys who want to know if they are low on gas if I could help them out since I carry extra gas on the rear of my sled!

isn't that what buddies are for:D IF you are already carrying a pack, what's an extra water bottle? You are already carrying gas, I'm just offering to get rid of it to save you some weight!:confused::confused::rolleyes:

OK, fair enough! But you are buying my cheeseburger and beer when we get back to town, I forgot my wallet!:D

I carry an army canteen and cup to set on the y-pipe to melt snow if I run out of water. Bring pills if you are worried about pure water. Sometimes I also bring a filter, but I usually only use that for hunting when I'm hiking and drink lots of water.

Tote the water for him, but tell him he owes you a beer for every water you tote. Not the cheap stuff either, one from Hooters where he is also buying your wings. :)

I was thinking more along the line of Hooters, THEN, Shotgun Willie's

I carry a pack, but always try to get my buddies to carry extra water, beer, fuel, etc. Less weight on my back...........I agree isn't that what friends are for......

LOL

Alll the time....but its my mom  Yeah its just a water bottle, but its her always asking me to dig it out that gets annoying. Finally after years she carries her own.

I say, "sure, put anything you want in it.....but you are going to wear it all day then......"

Last year I didn't even wear a pack, I stuffed enough crap into the pocket on my sled. But I bought a Dakine hydration pack, that's the way to go holds 4L of water don't even need any bottles and your buddies can't bum that off you :p Once in a while it's cool if they run out, but if it's everytime it would be pretty lame. Everyone I ride with actully stuffs their stuff into one persons gf backpack, shes the only one who wears a pack.

if your riding buddy doesnt have room cuz he is carrying xtra tools and other essentials then i would pack his water.also beer is ok but the shipping tax is 50%.

Make yer wenches carry the stuff. You prolly bought her sled, the gas in it, gas to get to where you ride,,,,PLUS...... you drove the truck!!
So what if they whine a little bit. They'll feel better after they get the dishes washed.sFun_violinwack.gif
