Can I fit a 4 inch riser on an 08 M1000 without extending cables?

Just as the titles says, I have an 08 M1000 with a 3'' riser, and it's just not quite enough... Can I fit a 4'' or larger without extending everything? And, if I can't, what all needs to be extended? Just throttle and brake, or all the wires too?

hey i have a 2" riser on my 08 m8 and i was wondering if i could put a 3 inch on without extending anything it seems tight as it is with all the cables but it seems you maneged to slap a 3 inch on there without extending any of the cables and wires?

My snowmobile salesman has a 4 inch riser on his 08 M8, i dont think he had to extend the cables but i am not posotive about that.

My buddy put a 4" on his 08 m8 and didn't have to extend any cables at all.

take your throttle cable and move it from the left side to the right and along the fuel line for proper throttle adjustment

You won't have to move any cables, lines, or electrical. Just bolt the 4" on and ride.

I have about a 5" rise on mine. I extended the brake line and rerouted the throttle cable. Had no problems, works great. I had a hard time trying to find a throttle cable extension for the m since it has a ball instead of a hammer at the end of the cable.

Bolted the '09 telescopic bars on mine....no mods needed. Have a spare one too if ya know anyone who wants one.

Ignore my last post. I forgot that I had put an 09 throttle cable on prior to doing this, as I melted the stock 08 throttle cable earler in the year.

So... I want to go atleast 4''. What brand of riser do you recommend? I bet 5 inches would be even better... anyone have a setup for sale?

Okay, so today I ordered an adjustable 4-5.5'' rox riser, a brake cable extension, and an 09 Sno Pro throttle cable. Can I make this thing work with these parts? Is there enough wire for the bar warmers and switches? I hope I can make this work, sounds like I can, but I want to hear someone say that they have done the exact same thing to the exact same sled... anyone?
