Bikeman for me, this thing weighs 4-5lbs so thats 16-17lbs weight savings. Looking at the design tho i bet she is gonna be loud!!!!!!

Bikeman can

I put a bikeman on '12 HCR 800, and it fits awesome and sounds sweet, it is loud but not the loudest I've heard, also it is crazy on how much lighter it actually is compared to the stock!! I can post some pictures of it mounted in the sled if needed

Scott at HPS says 16.5 lbs weight loss. Silencers will probably be ready to ship at the end of this month. Been on the dyno, but, will be put on the snow before finalized for shipment.:phone:

I installed my SLP can Friday. Sounds good only slightly louder with a deeper sound and fit and finish is great. Always have had great luck with SLP

HPS-
If you guy's can wait it is the best out there.. Speedwerx and SLP is much like a square box... the proof is in the pudding.. Scott Dowsn't let out a can till it has been throughly tested.. Always had a very good product....:wine: But the R&D comes with a bit higher price, that is the price to pay for Quality assurance and Quality control...

blanket

It should not be a problem to run a silencer without the blanket, smaller size and less heat build up with the silencer should eliminate the need for the blanket.

On an added note, I have to :second: what was said earlier about the HPS silencer and Scott.:face-icon-small-coo

Just got off the phone with SLP and they said their can actually gained 1/2hp on the dyno. Did I see the dyno sheets myself? Um, no...

How much is the HPS can?
