Can extra tight plugs hit your pistons???

Okey dokey. Thanks. Im still in question about how my plug got bent (it closed the gap) last year on my 99 Summit X 670. It cost me a top-end rebuild, but I havn't had a problem with it since, not sure how it happened my only thought was it overheated and and piece of ring fell out and hit it??? It was just the right side and I pull my plugs every once in a while to check them but there just fine. I'll probly never know....:rolleyes::confused::rolleyes::confused:

that happened to a buds' rev 600 after he put twin pipes on it an burned it down. That was the only thing I figured could have bent the plug like that. I still have that plug an that happened a few years ago:rolleyes:

Something ran through the motor. Closed off gap is a sign to pull the belt and tow it out. Either a piece of piston, reed, ring, or somthing from the bottom end came up and went out the pipe. Could be a number of things but something ran through the motor
