I'm doing a top end refresh and the pistons measure good, but the rings are in poor shape. Leak down was 92% on the mag and 84% on the PTO.

I'm curious if anyone can give me a manufacturer of these pistons?

Thank you.

no idea what they are, but stick with the stock polaris pistons. Indy Dan did a long write up on why to stick with stock. it has to do with different expansion rates as the cylinders heat up.

The stock polaris pistons have similar #s as the pistons pictured. Are there groves cut in on the exhaust side of the piston?

No grooves, which I why I thought maybe they weren't Polaris pistons.

stockers. top pic is production run, bottom is piston size.
measure again at the bottom of the skirt. probably have .008"-.011" piston to wall clearance. they collapse a lot in 500 miles even.
