Can And Intake too much controller?

I have an 06 M7 that already has a mbrp can on it and have a timbersled intake i want to install, there are no other engine mods, my question is am i risking a lean burndown running without a fuel controller? Would it help to unplug the ethonal plug to make it a little richer to be on the safe side?

As to what I have read you can do a whole lot more to your m7 before you have to worry about makeing it lean. I will find out tomorrow for sure, Put a pipe on mine and milled the head,have intake already so we will see.
