can 06 summit

MBRP is in the lead for me, but i would like to hear your thoughts. cost/loudness dont matter.

thx in advance
You get what you pay for, things I personally don't like about MBRP.
Loud, cheap construction steel painted in/out pipe, not tuned for application,
these coments also aply to snow-stuff rumble packs.
Why not get a can that is tuned for the application and has quality construction ie all ceramic coated. here's a list not necessaritly by the best, you decide, but mainly at ski-doo list:
the thing by al at the sled shed
dyno port
percision performance products
HPS
HT
SLP
Jaws
CPI
Aaen
and I'm sure there are others.
Remember a can probably will LOOSE power somewhere in the power band
but is one of the cheapest ways to loose front end weight other than ditching the sway bar.

MBRP not so bad!

I have had MBRP silencers for many years. No louder than HPS. Have sent back HPS cans for repair several times (cracked welds). Don't have personal experience with others.

i have a slp on my 06. i had a snostuff on my 03. it sounded better then the slp to me, but the riders next to me like the slp better. the snostuff can sounded freakin sweet when in a good hill climb. but the thing i like about the slp is 1. comes ceramic coated. 2. their is a slp performance package that "gives you about 162 horse". 3. the slp was only 200.00 bucks. i think all the mumbo jumbo about the right pipe to put on your sled is better resolved by listening to other sleds on the hill and using whatever sounds best to you.
