Camso x3

Looking for someone info.
I have an opportunity to buy a new x3 track (9220m ) for cheap.... friend bought it for his 18 mountain cat and never installed it. Looking on camso’s web page it, it lists 2 track #’s (9220M & 9220MSE ) for a 2017 axys 163LE.

First question is what’s the difference between the 2 tracks?

Second is, can I use the 9220m on my 17 axys?

Looks like the MSE is the center ported track. Noted with a *1*. Not sure a 9220M of your buddies would have the center ports.
I'm running a 3" Powder Claw (no center ports) with stock drivers and no center driver for 2 seasons now without issues. Just have to keep the track properly tensioned.

I don’t know how I missed that when I was looking on line. The 9220m that my friend is sell doesn’t have the center ports. Happy to hear your not having issues with out running the center driver.

Looks like I’ll be getting a new x3 for $800.

I run a 3"Powerclaw on my 800 and a 2.6" Powerclaw on my 850-- I center ported both of them by hand. Tedious, but easy enough.

Anti stab needed? Drop/roll? Any issue with snow not being evacuated from the tunnel?

Personally, I HATE anti-stab kits and avoid them at all costs- if you run Polaris style 7 tooth drivers it's not required.
Drop and roll only required when staying with 8 Tooth drivers.
Snow evacuation-- better with Drop and Roll but many ran 7 tooth drivers without D &R for years

Track swap was easier and quicker than I thought. Start to finish, including cutting center ports with an olfa knife was 4.5hrs. Can’t wait to test it out Sunday.
