Camso track in Yeti rubbing

R

Just installed a Camso DTS track in a 2016 Yeti and it rubs up near the front of the tunnel by the drivers on the very outside tips of the outer paddles. Is this typical and is the obvious fix to trim the tips a bit or just run? I think it will make a hell of a racket if you just run as is.

Ramond, yes trimming might be necessary. I have same setup. Yeah it fits tight in the tunnel. I rotated the track and trimmed maybe an 1/8 or so at edge of track where it was closest to the tunnel at the front as you describe. After two years of use no sign of it rubbing or any negative from trinmming. Even without any rubbing I find the yeti tunnel produces more noise and vibration than others.

Also check the drivers have not moved. We see them creep over all the time and take them off and make punch marks in the shaft (peen) and put them back on super centered and so that there is very little play so the track can't shift at all from side to side. Trimming the track is easy and won't hurt but we have never had to do it.

Making the drivers really tight side to side with the track doesn't rub off power ?

All the new tracks on all late model new kits are trimmed from the factory for that edge clearance ever since the new 2.5 track came out
