Camso dealer? Ski setup wanted

I wanted to try one out pretty bad but if you get the same price quote I received you'll think twice about getting one .

I didn't pay much more for my two Yeti skis delivered than what they want for one if that tells you anything .

I have no need for the bike kit mounts , the ski so far is the most expensive one ski I've seen .

For that price one can purchase two if not three sets of skis for a sled . How messed up is that when a lot of the skis are made from the same manufacture ?

269 for a plastic mount compared to the work of art Yeti has ? No comparison .

It works well in the snow we ride in and I care about that the most

Ski price is a reflection of economy of scale. Figure 100's of snow bike skiis vs 1000's they make for sleds. Costs more when you make allot less product.

I'll make you a screaming deal on a mototrax complete front ski setup!

Thxs for the offer , what I've been wanting is a fast ski and I think the Camso might be .

Thank you again

we have 129"s...17 mototrax, 17 camso 16.5 updated yetti and 17 timbersled(137) in our group. The camso looks like it pop up and ride on top of the snow the best when I watch the bikes run arround. All of them seem to do well steep sidehill and down the trail. Excerpt the mototrax, I feel like I'm pushing the ski in the deeper snow, kind of plowing. It's not sinking but it doesn't want to float either if that makes any sense. The camso looks like it floats the easiest out of all of them. Any ski setup will be better than the mototrax down the trail, but that's not super important to me. Floating and not robbing power plowing is.

The Yeti ski far outperforms the Camso ski based on everything that I have heard.

I'd disagree.

Yeti ski is better in most conditions but the Camso is better at bottom turns, and popping out of the pow after decent amounts of huckage.

Could be that you are correct. I do know that the Yeti ski corners better without slippage or washing out.

wow

the price you guys have brought up for the CAMSO ski is like outa dis world.

Back in the day just a few years ago CAMPOLAST was making some really tough light skiis. Unfortunately they where great plastic but really horrible handling, lightest ski out and no design. Makes you wonder how their ski program got so sideways. Takes the same amount of materials to make a horrible or great ski. So they way way way over paid engineers ?

I understand how manufacturing goes and economy's of scale. I doubt they make many snow bike skiis compared to snowmobile skiis so that engineering/manufacturing cost gets spread over 2-300 pieces vs 1000's.

I'll make up for paying too much and sel you my mototrax complete front setup for 1/2 of msrp :)

I do believe these guys make most of the skis the big manufactures use ? At least all of my machines except for the Flexi skis
