Also are you aloud to park across the highway and just cross the highway on the sled?

as far as i know camping is ok, im not sure about riding across to the motorized side from the other lot id think its ok??.....any takers

I know they tolerate overnight parking there in the wintertime. However there are "no overnight parking signs" all over the parking lots up there.Just don't get an attitude if confronted and you will most likely be fine.

I thought I saw signs up there, that is why I asked LOL. But I also remeber seeing motorhomes up there all the time.

Be careful of the weather if you do camp out. My friends camped there last year (during the week) and they had about 2' + of wet snow dump overnight & they got stuck in the parking lot until the grader came in.

Not a problem...

Camped in our Raptor there a few nights in the winter. Even had a trooper stop in to check on us (bad weather) and ask why we weren't outside around a fire celebrating all the new fresh snow coming down. I told him we'd have hot coffee waiting for him at his 10 pm pass.
No overnighting signs have been there for a few years and has never been enforced in the winter.
From what I understand from experience and others, Winter overnighting is fine as long as you are good campers...no big parties, leave no trash, and scatter your firepits. The trooper do patrol every few hours.

I camped at turny last week in my motorhome with my two *****es (dogs) got there wed night stayed till Sat evening it was great had the whole parking lot to myself most nights cruising the feilds. only way to play pack up head out, cook steaks every night plenty of suds and watch all the 2scs movies ya got.
