camoplast track options, what to do???

I was on camoplasts web site and saw that they make a 2"- 146" chalenger track in the 2.86 pitch. Would this be a good track to upgrade to on my assualt, having the shorter lugs it should offer the required clearence but was wondering if it would be worse for traction that the stock comp track? This track also has no center port but i have a drive shaft from a 06 rmk 600 with stock drivers. Would that work with this track? I had this track on a 144 rmk with a 660 and I thought it worked really well but at the time it was the tallest lug availble. I do realize that the 2.5 camo extreme would be best but dont want to do a drop and roll. I know some have done it without but just not sure if i would be happy how it would perform as a drop in replacement. How would the challenger compare to the polaris 5.1? Thanks for any input and sugestions.

Many people have done the CE without a Drop and roll. Don't let that be the only reason you don't get that track. Sure a D&R is the "right" way to do it. But there is enough room to do it without.

Well if i do go the camo extreme i will prob just end up changing the drivers to smaller ones and going that route but i am pretty sure i will need a antistab kit then as well? how do you guys think the challenger 2" would compare to the stock comp track in soft snow better or worse? like i said i have a driveshaft from a 06 rmk is that a 2.86 pitch? I am just thinking the 2" challenger should have less rolling resistance and more clearence therfore more trackspeed.

The 06 RMK stock would have a 2.52 pitch

put a cam extreme on it you will love it, there is enough clearance, it would be better with more clearance I hear but I am running one on my dragon with 9 tooth drivers and I love it, the best thing you can do to these sleds.
