I installed a new camoplast extreme track on my sled this year. I have avid drivers(stock size but extroverts) and when I get in the deep snow it makes a noise like the track is binding and when I pull onto hard pack it goes away. My tension is fine and the track is running true. The only difference from the stock track is it is a 2.5" instead of a 2.4". I was hoping someone on here has run into this. Any info is appreciated. Thanks, Adam

Did you trim your rails to ensure clearance for the extroverts?

I would start by asking the same as above about trimming the rails, I know if you run them really loose they will hit. they do not need to be banjo tight like you have to have it with stock drivers. I have a camo extreme on both of my sleds and my wife has been telling me she hears the track slapping but I know the track is way to loose. I have avids on both so it doesn' ratchet

I have been busy for a while, so thanks for the feedback. I have trimmed the rails and have an anti-stab kit. My track is running fairly loose. I have about 1" of space from the slider to the track in the middle of the rail when I hold it up by the bumper. It is definatly not ratcheting, but like I said it sounds like the lugs are to big. I will try to tighten the track and see if it helps. How tight, like back to stock? Thanks.
