We will be racing these tracks on our factory Yamaha mod sleds this year on the RMSHA circuit. The Xtreme offers a higher screw count compared to the Peak, but it also has a tendancy to start shedding lugs under boost. We hope to see improved track speed and durability with the Peak as well as less rotating mass.

So are you guys getting 3" pitch versions of this, or are you switching drivers and going with the 2.86" pitch?

2.86 Avid Drivers.
I don't think there is a 3.0 pitch version. If there is let me know. Planning on running one myself, but will have to go to 2.86 drivers.
The 3.0 pitch version is called the Ascent and is 2.25" lug height and comes stock on the 2012 Yamaha sleds. The 2.5" lug height is called the Peak and is only in the 2.86 pitch. At least that is the way it is in the time being..

been on my 2012 xp for two weeks. just waiting for snow. if it dont work i will put the fact.2.5 back on. come on snow!

my buddy said the track is awsome,stewart B.C bottom less snow up and gone were his exact words.8 feet at the cabin.
Thats great however need a control , Both tracks side by side.Everyone who just dropped the coin he has is going to say how great it is, No disrespect intended .I hear all the time how great the new ski is they just installed on a sled, Then they proceed to tell everyone them must get a set and they rock , Hog Wash until they have run all the skis offered before they can make a credible suggestion.

He was riding with his buddy that he always rides with. He's got a polaris pro, his buddy said it get on the snow way faster then his pro, so take it for what it worth I guess.His 09 HCS Trenched pretty bad compared to his buddies polaris pro.

Yah two complete different track designs and intended for opposite application. That is no comparison what so ever
