Camo Extreme Hi fax install?

Just put a Camo Extreme on and then had to change the hi fax(what a dumbass). What a PITA. It doesn't have big enough ports to stick the hifax through. What do you guyz do. ?"If the holes too small force it in"?

Just pull your skid out. It's only 4 bolts.

You say that like it's not a PITA, everytime I pull skids, the bolts don't want to cooperate. Even with a extra nut on one of the bolts, it sucks.

I would cut the hyfax at an angle and force it thru the holes and enlarge the holes in the track if necessary.

Yeah, removing the skid sucks. I know it's only 4 bolts but one side always sticks more than the other and before you know it it's almost an hour by the time it comes out and back in but that is what I did. I'll try cutting out a window next time. No ill affects from enlarging a window?

Skdoo hyfax are wide on bottom, makes those a bear also. I shove them in at an angle and pry them straight and push as mentioned before. A little lube of somesorts helps also.

did you loosen the track? that should make the window about the appropriate size for your hifax. if you don't have a track stand you can just roll the sled on the side. i use a little wd40 to get the new ones back on and a chisel to lightly tap off the old ones .

Track was loose enough to take the skid out. The hole is still too small to get a hi fax through. It's not like the polaris track where it's like throwing a hotdog down a hallway!
