Camo Extreme 9105M or 9175M?

I have been doing a lot of research on this and need some further clarification and opinions.

From what I have gathered is if you want to run the 9175M, you need to switch to 7 tooth (3" pitch) avid drivers and possibly trim the front of the rails and run an anti stab kit.

The 9105M appears to be a direct swap.

I have seen a ton of posts saying the the Camo extreme is the best all around track. Which one are these referring to?

9175M or 9105M?

Is the 9175M woth the hassle and expense over the 9105M for a stock power sled?

Consensus seems to be that the 9175 is money well spent. Better in both powder and hard snow than stock.

The 9105 is better than stock on hard snow but slightly worse in powder.

A lot more involved with putting a 9175 on but it is the newer improved model of the track. I wouldnt waste time putting on a 9105 unless your stock track is going bad.

My stock is brand new. Wanting to trade it in while new and upgrade.

What is the difference? Is there a difference in durometer or is it just length and pitch?

If its just length and pitch, what makes one better than the other??

All i know is i upgraded to a 9175m and this track seams to get threw anything i just keeps churning along huge upgrade over stock, you will not be disapointed

The 9105M works very well with stock and big horsepower. I personally run this track on all of my sleds.

Did you trim your rails back? How do you know how much to cut?

Roughly 1 1/2". The anti-stab replaces the limiter strap cross bar. No part of the rail or hifax can extend forward of the anti-stab wheels. Ensure you bevel the lower part of rail & hifax, kind of like making a ramp.

Here's pics of mine.

So by going to 7 tooth does it screw with drive ratio and clutching much?
I have a 15 so have the quick drive.

No, it gears it down a bit (from 2.10 to 2.28 if I recall correctly) but that is beneficial as they are geared too high to begin with.

Gearing depends on what you do. I have a TKI belt on the way with a 2.0:1 ratio. Combine that with 7T 3" pitch drivers will yield me 2.17:1 overall. I went with the 9175M track, FWIW.

Yup, I was just commenting on stock gearing to the change in effective gear ratio using the 7t3 drivers (keeping stock QD gear ratio).
