camera questions

i am wondering if anyone on here knows how to get videos off a disc. i have a sony handy cam and it records directly to discs but i cant seem to get the footage off the disc??

also, does any one know were to get a good helmet cam for a good price?

cableguy: thank you for the help but my camera writes the footage to discs. that is were i run into the problem

MiniDisc or the 8mm DVDs?

The DVD should play in a DVD player. If it doesn't, you've got bigger issues.

Have to use a DVD ripper to get them to videos (MP4, AVI, etc) on the computer.... I use Handbrake.
