camera mounts?

Where can I find different mounting kits for my video camera? Have seen some cameras on a pole out of backpack and some mounted on the front bumper of sled.

you need to get a smaller cam more then likely. check out VIO or Gopro, both offer mount kits for there cameras.

I have seen cameras mounted on something coming out of a backpack. Do you know how this is done? Or what is being used?

i've seen guys duct tape to tape their helmet cam to their shovel handle extended from thier back pack.

not sure if you are talking about a helmet cam or a camcorder..but a handheld camcorder will most likely be way too heavy and bulky..you'll probably need to go with a helmet cam for this.

last year i just cut a piece of 2x2 ceder or something to the length wanted it and duct taped my helmet cam to the tip and stuck it out of my back pack. you can pretty much use anything you want that's fairly light weight and sticks out..

Bullet cam (e.g helmet cam, pov cam, go pro, ect) and some duct tape goes a long way. Last year I used some car windshield mount I got from Fred Meyer with a SD camcorder, but it broke pretty easy after just an hour or two of filming. The plastic screw mount cracked as I tried to continually tighten it down. Didn't expect much for $19 though.
