Camcorder for cold weather? Which ones work

I am looking at upgrading my camcorder, right now I have an older JVC, don't even know what model it is, but it is non HD. When sledding I need to keep it warm or else it will say to keep model on until it warms up, which it never will. So I keep the heated handwarmers packets in it case all the time to try to keep it warm all day.

I am now looking at getting a canon. Specifically a Canon Vixia HF S200. I wondering if anybody with this camcorder or just a canon has problems with it operating in cold temps?

I have a Sanyo Xacti - HD and waterproof - have used it in summer & winter with no problems ... decent image quality, easy to use, great battery life .. has been hand held in tubes behind the jetboat, on the sled, on rollercoasters, in the pool, etc.

most of the new cameras are decent ... figure out what you need and budget.

O.k thanks. I am 99% sure I am getting this canon. I think the video quality is excellent, and i have had good experiences with canon in the past. I am just hoping to verify that there will be no problems in very cold weather. But if you have had good experiences with other camcorders, post them up so this thread can be more informative to other people.
