Calgary area riders, find someone to ride with here.

I just thought this might be a good idea. I'm always looking for people to ride with and reading a few posts on here some other people from the area are as well. So if you are looking for someone to ride with or are willing to take someone along with you and your buddies to get more people out. Let people know about it here.

I'm looking at going to Golden to ride on Saturday hopefully just for a day trip. First go of the year. Anyone else headed west?

Me too, Saturday looks good for me and my kid. I don't have extra trailer spot but it sucks to ride alone so PM me if you want to ride with us.

I expect to leave at 6:30, ride by 9:30 or 10:00 till 4:00 and then head back.

Maybe stop for dinner.

I live in Calgary, get week days off and sundays, I have a summit x 154. It's hard to find people to ride with on like Tuesdays etc, but this will help.
Is there much snow up in quartz ? and is it enough to bring a brand new sled up yet?

Hey guys nice thread, just getting back into sledding again, got the sled and a deck on the truck, so there is always room for another sled, just need to get out with some people once the snow hits. Just came back through Invermere/Radium for work purposes on Thursday and the snow was sticking but not enough just yet around there. Never made it up to Golden to see what was there.

Certianly be nice to get out, saw a few guys heading west tonight with a trailer load, made me a little jealous. I'm not familar with many of the spots other than knowing where they so if anyone ever is willing to drag along a novice rider either westward or down to crowsnest post up I and I would tag along for sure.

To all sledders in the Calgary area, especially those who shop at Bow Cycle,if you need some riding buddies this weekend, Todd and I from Bow cycle will be heading to Quartz on Sunday nov 23, we will try to meet in the Parkinlg lot @ 10:00.
We are getting our shop truck wraped (Graphics)so it will be hard to miss. Most of us are intermediate riders so all are welcome to join us. We are using this first ride as a chance to break in our new summits and do a bit of a test and tune.
If any body wants to come and needs some riding buddies, pm me or respond to my post and we will go from there.

Are there any dealers that would let me store it in their yard or something?

If anyone has any suggestions it would be great.

Your best bet is to find a rv storage lot and store it there. Theer are a couple on the west side of the city that are handy because you can pick your sled up on the way out if its ready to go.

My son and I are going to Revy on Saturday and Sunday if anyone needs an excuse to ride. Don't have extra room on the trailer but would like ride with someone who has spent more time at Boulder in case we get lost.

I'm in Calgary.

Sold my 4 place last year, so it's just me and my sled these days.

My time seems to be really tight and people's schedule's never seem to match, so this thread is a great idea. I always seem to be looking for guys to go with, especially for day trips.

I'd consider myself an intermediate rider, I won't blow your mind with my riding skills, but I can hold my own, so you won't have to be digging me out all day either.
