Anyone know the formula for calculating fuel oil ratio. My 800 HO is a fume flinging tear jerker:rolleyes: uses about 20oz of oil to 6 gl of gas....

1 gal = 128 oz....So, 128 x 6 = 768 / 20 = 38.4 ... so, 38:1. Nothing wrong with that. For a stock 800, i wouldn't change a thing.

I mix 40:1 in my 440 running pump gas.

she smokes a little. So if it smokes up my garage tone down the oil ration?

Or will my engine be fine like that if I leave it?

3.2 ounces of oil to 1 gallon of gas gives you 40 to 1 ratio

I run 40 to 1 with most mineral based oils
