C3 Sled Gear is a new clothing company that is 100% made in the USA. We are currently in our final phases of product development with very good feedback from everyone who has tested our gear. Simply put; our goal is to give snowmobile athletes a product that allows them to be athletic! We have 4 sponsored riders at Jackson Hole next weekend so please keep your eyes open for Justin Jacobson, Scott Cheeny, Les Keller and Josh Koreski.

Being a new company with small realistic goals we have not started a website....yet. We do have a Facebook page "C3 SLED GEAR" that we would love for you to "Like" and give your opinions. We will have a website up before July so our customers can learn about C3, Order product and efficantly communicate with us!

Once again this is a 100% made in the USA product! SympaTex membrane!

We will keep you posted and add pictures as we progress!

Any affiliation to the Canadian C3? If so I didn't know carbon fiber was a clothing option! Really looking forward to what you guys come out with! And hope the price is reasonable.

Price is something we are still working on very hard. A close guess will be 250 for the coat and 250-300 for the pants.

C3 stands for Cascade Clothing Company. Our building is in Yakima,wa.

Thanks for your interest!

Website is being worked on and should be done before May 1st! We had so many positive and uplifting comments at Jackson, thank you! I'm going to give away a free pullover to one of the first 100 people who like C3 on Facebook! Our e mail is C3sledgear@gmx.com if you have any questions!

Happy spring!

Any updates on what types of gear you will be making (pants, bibs, jackets, gloves, shirts, hoodies, etc)? I see some pants and a jacket on your facebook page.

If your primary advertising is FaceBook you will miss out on the majority of people that would consider purchasing your products. Not to offend but FB is for GF's and wife's that have nothing better to do. Most real men do not FB. JMO

Reality is, FB is one if not the biggest marketing platforms out there, and its free. I do think a company website should come first and foremost though so everyone including the "real men" can view. What did I do, made my name on FB with my forum handle and put a sled pic for a profile photo. I literally have no "friends" or nothing on there besides sled/atv/truck etc companies. I've always hated FB and always will but ill use it for what it's good for, seeing promotions and new product. See most stuff get posted on there way before it pops up on the forums.

Hey guys, all your comments are appreciated! I hate the fact that we cant just dump a ton of Capital into a company and build a website and make 1000 pieces of clothing and sit and wait for customers! My idea is to start small......Like 200-300 pieces the first year (coats and pants). Being a 100% USA company, our costs are higher and margins are lower to stay competitive! This will not allow for huge fast growth but more on the lines of small steady growth. Plus we will have a custom gear program if you fall outside of the normal sizing charts.....To insure we meet and exceed everyones needs. Our website will be the place where you can order product for the first couple years, until we get a couple dealers onboard.

Our products will be a full zip coat, 1/4 zip (pullover) and pants. This gear is for the active snowmobiler.......I love mine for the simple reason I dont feel like I have 100lbs of clothes on! Plus Sympatex is amazing stuff and keeps your body temp perfect in any condition! I will have a summer order only Limited Edition Line that is crazy Sweet. I'll post pictures of this gear once I get it finished......!

I would have to disagree with this, in fact SnoWest is the only forum that we advertise on that has an issue with Facebook (Not Snowest directly, the members). Not sure what the deal is, it really is another open source way to chit chat with people, same as the forums. Yes different media streams and such, but in a black and white perspective it is one in the same with a forum. And our Google Analytics shows we see way more clicks and actual purchases from Facebook than any other media that we use out there. From what we have seen most of the Snowest world tends to be of the older generation, and does not want to use Facebook, but well over half of the guys still actually have an account, they just don't use it a ton.

Heres a good example, we ran a movie promo a month back. There was about 3k Snowest Members that saw the promo in a week, and around 50 comments in the thread. We saw 3k views on our Facebook post in less than 5 minutes and had well over 200k people see the add in the same week.

It is important to do both media avenues, but the world is forever evolving and changing.

That may well be, maybe I am in the minority being nearly fifty. Call me oldschool or whatever, but you will never reach me and those like me on FB. For what it is worth. I look forward to veiwing C3's offerings when presented in a place that I frequent. I'm in need of new gear and refuse to support overseas sweatshops (read:Blown Motor's choice of vendors) so hopefully C3 will get their website up soon.

True...

And that may be so, which is why I say you need to advertise and participate on both venues. Which we do, you are right the average 50 something gentleman does not use Facebook. As to the overseas sweatshop comment, it is what it is. We are here to make a living and to grow the sport. There are US made companies out there right now, and we sell them, and I would bet most people cannot even name them. Fact of the matter is, the 1:10 ratio of people who will pay more for the USA product doesn't pay the bills, so we stock and keep on pushing products that move. The USA vs. The World battle will never have a good answer to make everybody happy.

With that said, i am stoked to see more of Josh's C3 gear. What I saw in Jackson Hole looked very solid!!

I am #50 on your LIKE page. We all know you will pick the middle one.
Send the cry babies down the river. It is easy to find the people in this day and age that have not tried to start a company but have all the answers. Some people want everything handed out free without doing any work for it.
GOOD LUCK

I honestly do not understand this mentality.

And the facts being what they are, the statement is false about reaching the general sledding public. The majority of the big sled companies are all over FB...actually participating on a daily basis. You will never see that here.

I like all types of snowmobile media and just about everything sled related. To miss out on all the FB sled content just seems ignorant.
