Buzzing

When I'm hillclimbing and the sled gets light I get a buzzing noise and sensation, failrly loud. It sounds like my chain is slipping or I have a stripped sprocket but thats not the case, they are new.

It also does it when I'm sidehilling hard or sometimes when I wheelie.

check these things assuming that the track is tensioned correctly
1) chain tension and the spring POS tensioner inside sometimes they break.
2) check your drive shaft bearings when you look inside the chaincase.
3) look a the inner most drive lugs on your track (the rubber nubbies that stick up) if they are damaged your rear sock of the rear suspension is in the "down" position. the attach point should be above the cross shaft not below. they will easily assemble both ways.
4) look at your primary and make sure its healthy and that the weights arent doing something they are not supposed to be doing.

good luck

hey

I bet is your rail tips hitting the track windows. My 09 hcr did the the same thing until I got a bdx anti stab kit. Does it vibrate in your feet?

When mine had a funny sound / vibration it was the bearing on the drive shaft under the driven clutch getting destroyed. It only did it when i let off the gas, on the gas it didn't do it at all.

The track, chain and sprockets all are new, the bearings looked good when I had it apart, so i did not replace them. I will recheck chain and track tension, just tightened them both up two rides ago.

I'm thinking it could be the rails hitting the windows of the track or maybe track slipping on the drivers, like mentioned.

My drivers are OEM.

How will I be able to tell if it's either? Replace both and hope it solves it or ? Tighten the limiters up? I have them loose.
