hello fellas, does anyone know from experience what is all needed? i am thinking of buying a used sled from the u.s, so i would have to pick it up down there and bring it back across the border, what do i need to have in terms of paperwork?and anyone know what other fee's i'll have to pay at the border....thanx

You have to have your ducks in line or you will have problems.
I had a bad experience because the sled had the decal with the Canada cert #s on it removed because the tunnel was polished... the same is true for aftermarket tunnels.... you can still do it, but it is a bit more footwork and also depends on the mood of the customs officer at the border.

Also one thing not often mentioned....if you are buying a late model sled from a private seller in the states....almost all of them have liens on them. You will need clear title and if the seller doesn't have title in hand or can't pay off the lien until you give him the cash that is dicey when dealing from a distance....
