Buying a sled from Canada in the U.S.

Well, I've searched and searched and I can only find information about how to bring a sled from the U.S. to Canada, but not the other way around. Does anyone know what you have to do to legally bring a sled from Canada into the U.S. (Montana specifically). We have no sales tax in Montana if that means anything.

I have a chance to buy a wicked dream sled, but the owner is in Alberta. Some help please! Thanks!
