Buying a deck?

Hey guys i have the opportunity to by a 2004 8ft marathon deck, sliding sides, new LED lighting and top deck plywood. It has the 2 peice 10ft ramp(not the telescoping one). For 1500. The deck looks like it is in really good shape. What you guys think good or bad deal? What is the 2 peice ramp like?

Well it is an older marathon deck but in great shape. I have seen most used ones going between 2800 to 2000.

I can't comment on the 2 peice ramp (I have the telescoping) but I'm very happy with my Marathon deck! Easier on the wallet at the pumps and the sled is CLEAN when you get there!

Get yourself a set of Superclamps as well. I got my first set (front and rear) and can't believe how well they work.

btw, I paid 2500 for mine. I have no idea what year it is, but it was MINT when I picked it up. There's quite a few for sale on Kijiji in Alberta. I had to drive to Medicine Hat to get mine!

Ya this is where i found this one on Kijiji. It looks in very mint shape, buddy has owned it since new 2004. Just replaced deck and LED lights all around. I figure for 1500 bucks can't go wrong if it is in mint shape.

I have been looking pretty hard, there was only one i seen on Kijiji AB for 1500 and it sold in like 2 hours... would have liked to have seen this one
