Buying a 2008 M8 Snow Pro - Anything I should know

Edit: The Sno Pro seller backed out, so now I'm looking at a 07 M8. Thoughts are still appreciated.

My 04 REV is finished (engine cratered last season) and I'm looking for a new sled.

Any things I need to look out for on a 2008 M8 Snow Pro? The M7 I owned before was the most fun sled to ride that I've owned, until the rear suspension gave up.

The one I'm looking at has:
350 miles
SLP Y-pipe
SLP pipe
SLP can
v-force reeds
high flow intake
boondocker
KOSO EGT

Thoughts on this sled?

Sounds like a great sled to me, just make sure the oil in the diamond drive is good. Sounds very well setup with the slp pipe and everything.

You'd better keep a pretty keen eye out for.......................Copious amounts of funnage!!!!:D

I think you need to know for sure one thing if you buy 08 this year next fall you can buy lighter with electronic reverse m8 for same price.:DCan you wait that long?:p

The seller backed out, so now I'm looking at a 07 M8 from seanM8 on snowest.

Speedwerx ceramic pipe, speedwerx y pipe, speedwerx high flow intake, Jaws can, vforce 3 reeds, ti primary spring 75.5 gram weights and 44/40 helix.

Any worthy difference between the 07-08's?
Any concerns about fuel delivery with the exhaust mods?

08 has the lighter Float rear skid

08 non sno pro has the crappy gauge

08 has the nicer running boards

07s came setup pretty poor in the clutching department but that can be fixed

07s have a richer fuel map

Yea, but I blame that attack 20 track and the fact that it was an 05.
I had a lot of fun on that M7.

The other option is a 07 REV 800R 151.

you could buy the 07 and put an 09 skid and track under it. that would be a pretty well setup sled. on the 07's without a reflash i think you could run a pipe without a fuel controller, but it wouldnt hurt to run one. You could really fine tune it with a controller.

Pull cord to start engine.
Throttle is on the right side of the bars.
...and that lever on the left side is just for looks.
