Burandt HD powder trac boards

Just wondering if anybody has any pics of these. I have a 2012 assault 155 looking to upgrade boards but not wanting to spend a lot. Are they easy to install, do they work good, etc. How much $ are they.

There was an install thread here yesterday on just that, with link to pics on FB. I'll try to find that. While I'm waiting for my friends concrete to cure enough to power trowel. Found it!

Here is a comparison picture i did from the top of my tunnel.

Installation was fairly easy after you realize that polaris's paper template's are sh@* and pitch them in the trash.

Installed mine last night, your right about the paper template, Hah, you did not follow directions, they recommend to do the right side first.

Sweet addition for sure.

what are the differences between this Burandt board and the OEM '13 boards?

Are they thicker material or is their dimensional differences? OR?

They are supposed to be a heavier duty version of the stock. And they are black.

Same aluminum extrusion, the stock boards have larger openings between the crossbars for better snow evacuation. Whereas the HD Burandt boards have wider crossbars and smaller openings.

In my opinion; the stock boards are lighter, will evacuate snow better (with or without hydrophobic hard anodizing), and likely stronger due to no temper lost because of the powder coating bake cycle. If anyone still wants to upgrade to the Burandt boards, I'm still in the market for some stock takeoffs. Thanks
