Burandt boards

force it in

Any body figure out how to put them on iq chassey yet? Was wondering if any body made them fit on the front where your foot goes. I know it can be done but has any one done it yet. Can you post pict. Thanks

There are photos and threads on here about it and on IQR's as well but most have elected to leave them stock width in front rather than pulling the fender and side panels in. They have trimmed the stock running boards at an angle and left a pie shaped wedge (wider in the front). I'm getting ready to do three IQR's and intend to pull the fenders in to fit the board. Waiting for the CF tunnel panels to show for the IQ and PRO exchangers.

Don't know how to post pict but I did it every thing works but you have to make a bracket or should I say angle iron for the connection in the front of any body is interested . If I can figure out how to post pict I will

I put them on my dragon and pulled the fenders in tight to the boards and also cut the fenders out all the way up to the kick plate deal in front of where your foot goes. Looks similar to what skidoo did on xm chassis, also slash cut the toe hook pipes off at about a 50* angle so they weren't sticking out. This was the best mod I have ever done to the ol dragon!! Hands down!!! This sled is for sale in the on the forum here with a link to see pics

Nice I'm glad someone else did it too wish I could figure out how to post pict of my bracket but the bot line is it can be done easily

They fit, you just have to cut the tab off where the stock boards mount and build a tab that mounts from the side like the PRO's. All of the other stock holes line-up.

The template for the PRO's is useless but because the holes and the length all line up all you have to do is take your time and mark out where to cut your stock boards off.

Go for it!

Just did this last week. Real easy install. I had installed the van amburg boards previously. It would have been much easier to install these the first time. I love the look. Haven't tested them out, that will be this weekend. My install was slightly different. I picked up on both of the holes on the drop bracket and used angle piece to connect to the iq hoop. I did have to slightly bend the tab on the iq hoop to get them to line up. No big deal at all.

So there is one part number....and I assume it doesn't matter what length of skid? I have measured OEM running boards to be the same length but noticed that rear torque arm hanger on a 144" is about 3/4 closer to tank than a 155". Didn't have a 163 to measure. With that being said, the solid aluminum section that the hanger rivets to on the board must accommodate both locations?

What do we know about this Snowesters?

I would think that the board is meant for a 155 skid. I didn't think about the 144 skid. I don't believe that it would mount up to the drop bracket location as clean as some of the installs. I can not be sure as I don't know how far forward the 144 mount is compared to the 155 mount. I believe the 163 drop bracket is in the same location as the 155.

Lieterch--- I looked at a printed copy of the Pure Polaris catalog and it specifies 155/163 inch tracks. That info is not shown online. So that answers it. The boards appear to all be the same length, but the drop bracket on the 144 is about an inch forward on the tunnel.

Does anyone know if these goes on the 2010 RMK 144? I see them mounted on a 146? Guess that is the same tunell as the 144?
I know I have to modify the front part, but the question is if the rear bracket/holes lines up.
