Can someone tell me how to get the glue loose as to remove the bulkhead from the chassis?:juggle:

I have never done so don't know but read somewhere it has to be heated up to like 300 degrees??? then glue lets go

The Poo service handbook mandates a blowtorch!

Quote:
"The recommended source of heat is the use of propane
gas, and can be obtained at most commercial hardware
stores."

Also:
"Bonded components must be removed, cleaned,
and re-bonded if the adhesive is subjected to
temperatures above 300° F (149° C)."

In my experience, removing chain cases, it takes a good amount of grilling due to the heat dispersion of alu.. Heated enough it makes a pop and snaps loose (due to glass beads mixed in the adhesive)

That's for the input guy's. Had a buddy rock one last weekend and in the rebuild stage. Cracked the bulkhead but tunnel and handle bar frame is all straight yet.

Heat is a must but by no means do the parts peel or fall off. It takes a lot of equal prying, wedging, pressure to get em off.
