Building an ice house?s

Has anybody on here built there own ice house? I want a nice one thats heated kind of like an ice castle don't need to be quit that fancy but want the protection like that from the weather want to be able to take my kids with me. But i can't justify spending 10000-12000 on one. I have all the tools for welding have built trailer before. Were did you get your plans from? Were to get stuff like windows and heaters and the electrical stuff from? Any help would be great.

I helped a bud build one in high school. He used mostly house building supplies and had insulation blown in walls. The windows were for a shed. I would for sure use that spray foam style insulation on the floor makes a big differance. You could fish in your socks in that thing. I think he had about 5500 bucks into it
