Building a sled deck, need help.

Hope everyone is having a good summer. I'm finally getting around to building a deck. I am going to use all 1x2 tubing but i don't know what thickness tubing i need. I want to do it right so i'm hoping you guys that have built your own can help me out. Any suggestions would be appriciated.

1/8" will be strong enough. Mine is built with 1x1x.125 and 1x2x.125 tubing. Haven't had a problem at all. Load 2 yamahas and in the summer 2 quads. Hope this helps.

i built mine out of 1x1x.125 and 1.25x1.25x.125 steel tubing, and is plenty strong, i made it first in 3D software at work, then made drawings from that. pm me if you want screen shots of one that i made, i can get plans together too if you want
