Bufflo pass;

We are going up over Xmas an was wounding how the snow is, snotel shows 99 so must not be working, but it does looks like they could have around 50 in.

99 is usually a sign that its curretly dumping and messing with the sensors

There was almost 48" last Saturday when I was at the marker. It has snowed a bunch since then. There should be at least 12" more now.

Was up yesterday, snow was awesome and visibility sucked. Marker showed just below 6', but prob 2-3' fresh. Snow was awesome, just wish we could have been able to see. I think the top is good, although it may expose some fun when it settles, mid and lower mountain were showing quite a but though. We are real close...

Went up yesterday with borninsnow he is right couldn't see anything. Went back up today to tow my sled out :mad: the visiability was much better still snowing but you could see. To bad I was towing on a clunker and not riding:(.
Thanks again to the guys from Michigan they really helped us out.

6 feet and more on the way:D NOCO rules! lol even when it supposedly isn't snowing up here. Cameron Pass has been socked in for a month. Slow and steady.

I emailed the CO snotel administrator yesterday and it's not looking good for fixing the snow gauge. A month ago the whole station was off line, at least we got the precip gauges working again. If you do the math you can kind of track how much is piling up.

Just tryin to keep up with the Dizzles :) WC and Schofield/Irwin look to be getting slammered but good. Probably too much snow...don't ya hate that. lol I might tune a little on Sat, but not ready to hold it WFO across the minefields yet. This all needs to set up good for my liking. Xmas time should be good up by Buff, not sure about RE, sounds like it needs a good dose from this storm.

RE station precip is going up slowly, but it's going up

Best you can do is guesstimate without a first hand report, but if you follow the posts and watch the snotels you can keep track pretty easy.

Held 'er to the bar for 1 minute straight yesterday at Vail Bushman!! Scary, yet satisfying;) I only did about 100 1 minute pulls in a back bowl. Pretty good stuff, as long as the stumps find your track only:eek:

post 6 and 7 not good enough for ya?

No... not really, maybe it needs spelled out for you. Post 6 and 7 were posted on previous storm totals and were posted on the 17th. I was inquiring about the addition potential for another 20 inches that was forecasted to fall yesterday.

But thanks for contributing valuable information to the forum!
