Here is a link for a supposed long range winter forecast. North East & Mid East get hammered again. While us Westerners get above seasonal temps but at least a chance of more snow. Now this weather science may be a bit of hocus pocus. I keep dreaming of huge mountains and valleys full of big pillowy, fluffy endless white powder.

My neighbor is a climatologist at the Univ. of AZ, and seems to have a pretty good handle on the scene (called last winter pretty well) and he says this is an extremely strong El Nino. We'll see. Here is SW CO that can still be hit or miss.
