BRP Rebates ?

I would like to know if there are any others out there still waiting for rebates from BRP for last years 2008 XP's ? We bought two XP's last year from Bow ridge in Cochrane and still have not received them. The dealer has washed their hands of us and tell us it is up to us to pursue them from BRP.

We have spent countless hours on the phone getting the run around from BRP with all the excuses getting us nowhere. BRP needs to clean up their act and start treating customers who spend major money on their sub standard products with a little respect.

BRP are you listening ?

Did i mention this has been the worst dealer experience i have ever had !

Owning this machine has been a poor experience all around from day 1. The dealer is incompetent in every respect from service, to ordering parts, they always have an excuse to why something wasn't done right. They sure like taking your money at the start but it all stops there. Never again will i buy or recommend them to anyone.

I went in there a month ago and was going to buy the wife a new sled. Waited around forever, waited for a salesman to finish eating, I told him what i wanted and what accessories on it, then i told him i was paying cash and wanted to load it up now. He quoted a price out of a book (which was more expensive than advertised on the sled up stairs, gave full price on the 3grand worth of accessories, then decided to answer his cell phone and plan a night of drinking with his buddies......

I wanted to punch him in the back of the head...

Mine was the X and i got the rebate last year, took a couple of months I think. Dealer filled out all the paperwork for me and sent it off to BRP and I got a cheque in the mail. No problems

Well after spending over 20 hours on the phone with BRP we finally convinced them that it had been a whole year since we bought our sleds and it was time for them to send us out rebate. I guess they finally processed it and it should be in our hands in the next couple of weeks. I still can't believe a guy needs to spend that kind of effort to get a measly 350 bucks back. BRP is a horrible company to deal with !

I'll second the comments about Bow Ridge. Tried to rip me off on my 350 (not the gear cheque, the PAC cheque) and finally after 4 months I was about to wrangle it from them. If you have been in there lately the discount which was supposed to be ongoing is now gone.
Service is basically incompetent - cannot even complete something after I tell them exactly what to do.

I picked up my 09 hillclimb edition on nov 23 08. I finally got the form to fill out for my 350$ parts/acc rebate yesterday. Feb 26 2009!!! it states clearly on the form that if it is not postmarked within 60 days of the delivered date of the sled the rebate is void. The sent date on the form is Feb 16 09. about 85 days after the delivered date of my sled. Now what? I'm out $350.00!!!
