Fixed it for youI dont know about your XP but mine is very much so a pull and go sled. I added weight to the clutch and thats it. It runs perfect!
I think people dont know what their doing when it comes to tuning a sled. The XP requires very little to get it set up. After the second ride I had mine dialed in! BFD! Thats very little time, and to just add some weight and adjust the belt, that is very simple.
Why are people having to adjust the belt 10 times per ride? What accesories are people putting on to 'make' them go? Why are people taking them to the dealer multiple times?
I don't get it. If you want a 'mountain sled' that works perfect out of the box, Then you should have bought a POLARIS
Maybe stick to the trail and you may be happy.
BTW- Anyone on here, if possible, name 1 mountain sled that works perfect out of the box. Just one. POLARIS
Chaz
How do you guys go through the tight trees with your XP so fast, i thought it would be a little harder this way ?
I sure wish i could ride through the trees with my Apex, not just sit at the bottom of the hill watching all those XP's be king of the mountain !
Fixed it for you
Getting back to the original post. BRP has not looked after us, dealer and company. So i guess i will keep complaining. BRP if your reading this your XP is JUNK ! You had it right in 05 and 06 and now you shat the bed !
Just because some guys aren't man enough to throw around some extra weight doesn't mean no one does it you retard !
I have been reading your dribble all season, and have been trying not to flame you, well, "Uncle"!!
I find you a Rude P-rick. Take that "great equalizer" Turbo off your Yamaha, and I will lay $100 that I will whip your heavy pig with your Pissant riding skillz at ANY situation, Drag race, Hill climb race, boondocking, deep powder, tree riding, you name it ............
You hate the Xp and all of us that choose to ride them and cant stay away from any XP thread..... All's you doo is cuss at us, throw temper tanttrums, and NEVER offer advice or tips on how to help fellow 4m Riders, which is what this 4M has always been about, Pizz off Ya chickenshat Punk !
Slim, thats not true if you look through some of my posts you will see i have been trying to fix some of the issues pertaining to the XP. You get tired of me bashing my XP, well now you know how the other side feels. The only difference is i actually own and ride the sled not just bash for the pure fun of it.
It is January and have had my XP out since Nov and have had not one single question answered from BRP, not one single thing fixed by BRP. That is poor customer service. I have been out with tons of XPs this season and the symptoms are all the same. This has never been about TURBO power ever. I never once said the XP isn't a good machine rather it is poorly built and has some quality control issues. The XP may climb higher than the Apex in stock trim but thats it. Nothing else !
I guess bashing is no longer allowed !
Bashing is always open season, BUT! you continue to invade threads where we are trying to help each other, Find fixs and share items in the interest of getting to what we all want to doo, "Ride the sleds of our choice that we bought with our hard earned dollars, and have FUN!"I guess bashing is no longer allowed !
Summitboy - yes we know the XP has some issues, do you have anything to offer to resolve anything?
