Can someone anwser my question..... Im looking in to buying a 440x ..im just wondering wat gas is useds in theses sleds and how do they work..

The gas required depends on which head is installed, if the stock high compression head is in it you require 110 oct. If the low comp head is in 91 is fine. As far as how do they work. What are you using it for? Its a race sled, the suspension is stiff, the sled is light, and it has a 440 in it so there is not a ton of power but it works for what it was built for. They do make decent trail sleds and they will work in the mountains but the lack of power shows up quickly

Do anyone have picsture of the skidoo and the motor.. and do this skiddo come stock with a pipe and accesories or im gonna have to add them ... and wats the best mods to do to a 440x tnx again Reg Bolger

You will get more responses in the racing section.

04-07 all require race gas from the factory. You will need to adjust carb settings and get pump-gas safe heads to run the on the trail. You will also need to get a full size gas tank from a summit. The stock tank is ~4 gallons or something like that.

You won't find pipes or cans really for the 440. The 440 is a stock class sled and there is not much aftermarket, frankly because they already have very good setups right from the race teams you will get them from.

That has some pics of my sled. Yours would look similar, except mine is a 600 mod, so you would have an airbox and a single pipe instead of what I have.

Alright .. thanks for the info...I checked out ur pics pretty awsome .. and did u try a 440x and if you did . i would like to know the handeling powerr and hoy u finr the sled in general .. I Had a 2003 renegade 600 ho loved it ....but im looking for more snap..and power....
