My understanding it was not really an issue with the 1100s. Time will tell with the 8s.

You are going to have a blast with that sled.
If you can handle a Harley bagger you can handle an HCR Turbo!
They don't feel heavy when they are in motion, especially when the throttle is on.
Watch your temps with the HCR cooling.

That's a good way to look at it, the t1100 is approximately 300LBS lighter than my bagger.

Yes, I am a little worried about the cooling....a little weight savings.....more so on the hill with less snow build up....but at what cost?

I heard several folks did this mod to last years sleds. I wonder how they are doing?

Just make sure you have your scratchers down when snow is hard packed or on groomed trails if not temps got pretty hot fast.

When you do you won't regret it. Just the quality of Evos product tells you it's going to be good! Money well spent.

Just picked up my 1100T from Fiels. Got all the updates done now to put on all my EVO stuff that's been sitting in my living room waiting for these stupid updates. Stoked to see how this beast handles

A good start would be the intercooler fan and blanket the turbo and header! Ah hell might as well grab the BRV kit too. If your loaded just dump the super chute on her who needs a warranty anyways. Stock muffler works good for anchoring small boats too. That color scheme prolly looks doubly bad az$ in person.
