broken SLP primary spring 400 miles

I swapped my primary out at 40 miles to the SLP maroon. cant remember the ratios off the top off my head. Yesterday it felt sluggish, i chalked it up to being in the deepest snow the sled has seen yet. decided to inspect clutching today just for the hell of it, popped the side panel and within 10 seconds I could see the issue

SLP doesn't make a maroon primary spring that I know of. All of their springs are combo colors like blue/pink or black/yellow or the likes.

Regardless, check you jam nut to make sure that it doesn't have any sharp spots on it where the notches are cut to grab the tool when taking it off... I've seen that cause spring breaking.

EPI makes a maroon spring (its the only one I know of) https://www.erlandsonperformance.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=EPI&Category_Code=cs
I used to run this spring in my IQR600ho with 10-62's. It was a decent spring, the initial bottom end was awesome, engagement was around 4500-5000 rpm's due to the extremely high initial load!! This would be a terrible spring for for this sled IMHO. If this is the spring you used I am not suprised that it broke in deep/heavy snow
