Had the lower quick drive bolt break yesterday. There is a chuck still in the shaft but it’s atleast an inch down. Thinking of tapping it and going up one bolt size, thoughts?

I went one (or 2) sizes bigger on my 15. Then found a 12.9 hard socket head bolt and cut off the head to make it into a stud. Use 2 nuts to lock together and loctite the stud in. This is much stronger and the resulting longer length of the shaft was not a problem when I replaced the track.
Drill it dead center then back out with an easy out. You may need to apply a little heat with a propane torch to melt the locktite. I have a 12" drill bit and just poke a hole in the side panel, it's much easier than removing all the plastic.
The shaft stub being hardened will make the drill / tap a tough job.
New shaft or (not so) EZ out.

I've broken two of them (13 Pro & 17 Axys). Once you get the broken bolt out, replace it with a 10.9 bolt and do NOT reuse them. Have an extra one on hand in your garage or toolbox in your truck/trailer. If you don't have a toolbox in your truck/trailer, then you must be new to polaris. LOL

You don't need to remove that plastic you just tied it down out of the way with a ratchet strap
