Broken crank on clutch 2011 pro 1600 miles

I have a 2011 pro. With 1600 m. Love the sled till I was ridding in west,was heading up a small hill, and boom, thought belt blew come to find out the primary clutch broke off the crank ! Just wondering if this happend to anyone els , and what the best way to fix ! Is there a bigger bearing kit??? A better crank to buy ?? Thanks. Cory

mine went at 1200 miles on my 2011.

You can have people fix the crank, and there are options for better PTO bearings. Brad at PAR makes them or puts them in. He did a great job on my motor. There may be more local options for you too depending on where you live.

mine went at 1200 miles on my 2011.

cool thanks ! starting to take apart today . any good tips on the taking the motor out ? did you replace your pistons too? I live in mn . i heard indy dan on some research??

Mine broke off flush with the motor and inside of the clutch tho

My 12 assault switchback did the same thing. My dealer got polaris to cover parts and I am paying labor. This just happened a couple weeks ago. I had 2214 miles. I am also in mn. Also 4 months out of warranty.

duluth lawn and sport. Havent gotten it back yet the new primary has not showed up yet. supposedly next week.
