Broken back window replacement question

Well i got a little excited loading my sled today on my buddies sled deck. Went too far and shattered the left window pane on his 2000 f-350. it has window with the slider in the middle. Does anyone know if they can just replace the broken section or do they have to replace the whole back window slider and all? Any input or advice is appreciated.

pretty sure a body shop wont do just the one pane, glass shop might, be just as cheap to replace the whole thing, would guess 200-300 bucks.

Sledneck do you know where i can get the pane? I got quoted 600 bucks installed today for the entire window...needless to say im looking for something a little cheaper. thanks

i broke out the center slider on a friends 2000 f250 and no one would replace just the center piece. it only cost me 350 to have the whole window replaced so u should call around for sure 600 seems a little steep.

Yeah 350 is about what im getting elsewhere. Im just going to let other people load my sled on their sled deck from now on! Expensive mistake. thanks guys

I just broke out that same pane and our glass shop had a used 1 that is being installed tomorrow. So just do some checking around.

buddy of mine did that with his atv shattered the right pane with his bumper and they couldnt replace just the pane he had to buy the whole window which costed him 1200 bucks but that was with the power slider in it. i worked in a body shop installing glass for 3 years and never have i been able to just replace the pane. always had to replace the whole thing
