Broken 990 Struther's Motor

[800 Escape]

Anyone interested in a broken 990, the crank is broke, it wasn't ran cause I heard a weird noise and towed it back and when got home I tore it down to see the lobe on the crank is cracked. No damage to pistons, or cylinders. I have everything for it, just needs crank fixed and drop in and go and go fast. It was in an edge chassis and I have a set of ceramic coated big bore twins for it too.** $2000 Plus Shipping**Includes motor, motor plate, carbs with dial a jets, ignition, ceramic coated SLP custom big bore race pipes(edge chassis).

What bottom end is this motor built off of,did it hurt the case and what you looking to get for it.Thx Tracy

It is based off of a Polaris bottom end and no the cases aren't hurt.

You will have to call Carl's Cycle to get info on this motor, ask for Chris or Jack. Still for sale I need this gone but not going to give it away.

Those have a custom billet crank in them, crankworks would have to build you a new one or try and repair the old one if possible.

Let's get this baby out of the garage before I get the money to fix it and sell it as a fresh rebuild for alot more money than what I am asking now. How about $2000 with Ceramic Coated SLP Race Big Bore Twins, $1800 with Black SLP Big Bore Race Twins, and $1600 with no pipes........

Can't you put a stock 800 crank in it and make it a 910?

Yes it would make a killer big bore 910 for someone with an 800 crank, and reasonably cheap compared to what I paid.
