Broken 09 adjustable post

In addition to our Chromoly Adjustable Steering Post, we are also offering a fix for the sloppy steering post problem. The main problem with the stock bushings is that they basically come to a point which does not offer much support. Also, with the steering post's needing to be bent from A/C for clearance, when you are turning back and forth, it does not rotate in a true arc on the bushing thus wearing bushing causing you to tighten the two bolts and usually crushing/crimping steering post causing it to become weak and snap.

With our fix, the bushing rotates with steering post and offers 100% more support. No drilling or modifying, just bolt on.

Im intrested in seeing your adjustable steering post, you have talked about it in the past, when are you planning on hitting the market with it ?

We did a limited run last year for testing and will have full production ready
1st of September, it will include the stock bushing fix. Will post a pic of adjustable steering post tomorrow with more info as well.

FU@$%CK I'm going down to strip the sled to check mine. Ill bet mine is fatigued at the least. Seems to be in 1 piece so far. Ill fab up a stifer bottom end if thats the case. I had to do it for the 06 m7.........

Here are the pics of the chromoly adjustable steering post installed. Shown at shortest and tallest position. Same amount of adjustment as stock. We use a splined shaft instead of hex shaft to eliminate extra slop. Adjustments are made with spring loaded pin and can be made on the fly like stock one. Comes with new steering post cap with gauge attachment options. Saves 2 lbs and alot of unwanted slop.

I misspoke on previous reply about bearing support fix. It will not come with adjustable post, but if bought with steering post will be discounted price.

As far as seat goes, we are now weighing our options whether to come out with seat or not, as Cat has new seat out which seams to be a descent seat.
