ride hard....lol

i thought i rode my machine hard till i saw the videos of that guy throwing his off the cliff etc!!!!!! a tip from me. carry 2 extra bolts that attach the steering stem to the frame. i crashed last year and they broke off leaving me with a long out of control ride home with the bars flopping all over....

Foppy steering!

At Hawk Fest, after Dave rode off the waterfall by mistake the down force he putt on the handle bars almost tore the top plate on the stem of the 800.

Tony had to steer by weighting the pegs back to the truck!

Protected species - wait till good snow base before flying your rare birds, priced parts lately?

:)

You should see some of the damage I did to my 900 last year.

Invest in a plastic welder. And good knee/body protection.

The 800 Hawk is plenty but far from too much... not for me in the mountains actually.

When you go up a hill with 24" of powder, that's where you really need the power.... & good clutching to go with it !

On a trail with the clutching we all have on 800s with the sea level power... it's a missile, and this, yes, is probably too much power to be used. Just pulls & pulls & pulls... the green spring & 50/40 Helix we have is grrrrrreat for trail.

i guess there really is never too much power, but that 800 of mikes is enough to get you in some serious trouble in the tight woods....even with the 136" it doesnt take much throttle to get it sideways! i love to ride someones 800 with all sorts of mods and a 159" track and point it straight up the mountain...gotta be sick!!!

Oh great that's all I need is more touble in the trails with my 600.Just spent the last 6 months nursing my 2 shoulders back to health after kissing a tree with my wr 450.I better stay in the fields. Then again that's how I broke my femer, lol

no hawks in my garage yet. Just the RMK 900. Love to try one, possibly add one to my collection for the spring/fall rides without a whole lot of snow...

Some broken bumper parts:

oh yeah, then there was this....

busted that doing about 40 in a meadow... Sled went airborne, landed 10ft from where it left the ground, i did a few cartwheels and landed about 10ft from the sled... helmets are good things.
