Broke 06 Crank 2/21/2010

I just got my kit this last week and installed it Saturday. I must say... WOW! Bang for the buck is awesome! It includes the crank, new primary without spring or weights, new clutch bolt, all the seals and bearings, new cylinder gaskets, head o-rings, piston c-clips, the polaris belt, exhaust gaskets and a few other things I'm missing. It does NOT come with reed cage gaskets or exhaust valve gaskets. The kit literally slipped together, I did new pistons and reeds and boots as well. Total cost I'm into it for a little under $1400. I went to my local dealer and told them I could get the parts cheaper... (Babbitts obviously), and they matched the prices. Win win for both of us, they get the business, and I don't have to pay the shipping. Give your local dealer your business whenever you can. I may have an advantage because we have been buying from our dealer for years and spent probably close to $100g's over the years in parts and quads, bikes, and sleds. They will work with you, just be nice!

I went to the Babbitt web site to order online, but could not get a complete discripition from the site on what the kit includes, so I have yet to order. It seems like you get a lot for your money !!!!! How about the Torque Master lll Crank? I could use some feedback on it !!!!

I ordered mine from Babbits also, description was not the best. I was a little worried but everything was there.

Mine had the pto rod bearing go bad. I can not find a reason. The oiler was working and i even had 100/1 in the tank. the cylinders even looked ok except where the rod bearing went through. I was hoping all the damage was the crank but once i got it apart i could see where the rod hit the case and cracked it. The outer pto main bearing looked like it spun it the case a little and the cylinders and pistons neen to be replaced. It was running great then i noticed a whistle about mid range. We were in the trees and i thought i glazed my belt and thought when we get to the road i will check it when schreeeek-bog-bogggg. 2200 miles. So i lit the ***** on fire and went home. RIP. actualy no fire but i was mad enough to. Rob
