Brighter headlights

I have a Harley and I put a 100/130 watt halogen bulb in it and what a difference! Wondering if that will affect anything on my 05 900 instead of the 55/60 watt one that are in it. I ride in Michigan through the woods on state groomed trails and you can't ever have enough lights. It was excuse the "pun" night and day diff.!

that's "watt" I was wondering, I mean it didn't do anything to my Harley, I don't have electric start on the sled, I guess it wouldn't but someone that know just hasn't read this yet I think.

I wouldn't recommend going higher than stock wattage on the bulbs, these 900's are already known for stator issues without putting a larger load on the electrical system. There are tinted bulbs that make a difference in certain conditions though.

Don't do it... the wiring is not made for it.. nor are the switches.. even with relays... kind of sketchy with a 400 watt total output Stator.

thanx! so I could put in same watt bulbs just keep the draw the same,I need to check into this just alittle do to the fact that there are so many bulibs that offer less pull with more light, I'll keep you in touch, more light is way better through the trails!

i run the polaris bulbs 100/55 watts, handwarmers mounted on my nos bottle for heaters and blue LED ground effects kit and boondocker box wit 2000 miles and not one stator yet..are these stator issues for 05's only or wats the deal? nothn every broke or burnt up or neth on my 06 yet.
