rode in Brewer yesterday, found some pockets with sweet deep snow.

wind loaded hills are really sketchy, avy's letting go very easy.

we saw 3 small ones(biggest was 10 m wide) come down.

the new snow( 20cm) is not bonding to the old crust. the old facetted snow is still there and it rips to the rocks when it goes....

not sure why a couple guys were highmarking under one of the largest cornice I've seen though

brewer is sucking the big one for snow. check the depth and it only has 4 feet of snow. If that.
and for that cornice, what hill had it?

most east facing slopes had large cornices.
I'll post pics later.
When were you in there last? we found pockets with 2-3' of fresh.
